As the architect’s own home, this project was a deeply personal exploration of balancing heritage conservation with contemporary living. Located in a sensitive preservation area of Bar Beach, the design strictly adhered to Council guidelines, meticulously maintaining the integrity of the original exterior. Inside, however, the home is transformed. We juxtaposed the traditional façade with sophisticated modern fittings and bespoke interior styling, proving that a respectful heritage restoration can still accommodate a thoroughly modern lifestyle.
