About This Project

Tasked with creating a home that was different to the typical Merewether ‘box’, this design is defined by its soft, flowing curves. The form presents as two strong corner elements connected by a sinuous, concave balcony. This approach breaks down the building’s perceived scale and bulk, creating a wonderful rhythm along the streetscape. A two-storey, double-curved turret punctuates the northern corner, anchoring the home on its incredibly exposed site. This robust home, designed to stand the test of time, was expertly built by our long-term collaborators, Ledbury Constructions.
